JOTA Appoints a New Managing Editor
We are pleased to announce that Professor Christos Kotsogiannis has accepted the role of Managing Editor of the Journal of Tax Administration.
Professor Kotsogiannis has been a member of the journal's editorial board since launch. A Professor of Economics at the University of Exeter, he is also the Director of the university's Tax Administration Research Centre (TARC), a hub for high-quality interdisciplinary research into tax administration and policy, which has a global reach.
He is a Research Fellow at CESifo, Germany, and an editor for CESifo Economic Studies. His research interests lie in the areas of public , political, and environmental economics, as well as international trade, and he has published papers in, and guest co-edited issues of, a wide range of academic journals.
Professor Kotsogiannis has a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex. He was awarded the Copernicus International Fellowship from the University IUSS-Ferrara 1391 in 2015.
He replaces Dr. Matthew Rablen, who took over as Managing Editor in 2023. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Rablen for everything he has done during his time in the role. Dr. Rablen will continue working with JOTA as a member of the editorial team.
