The Journal of Tax Administration operates a double-blind peer review process when considering academic papers. As such, we have relied on the assistance of many highly qualified referees over the years, all of whom have taken the time to review papers for us free of charge. The JOTA Reviewer of the Year Award

Our inaugural reviewer of the year award (2021/22) was presented to Prof. Dr. Sebastian Eichfelder of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany. 

In 2023, we awarded the reviewer of the year award (2022/23) to Dr Carlene Wynter, Accounting Lecturer at Aston University, Birmingham, England.

The 2023/24 award was presented to Dr. Duccio Gamannossi Degl'Innocenti, Assistant Professor at the University of Padova.
